My name is Leon - and this is my story.
For a long time, I was an outsider and even a victim of bullying. No friends, shy. I saw myself as a person who couldn't achieve anything in life. And even today, after working for hours on my personal development, I sometimes still feel this way, as it's a deep wound from my past. What I also carry with me from that time is a weak level of self-confidence and self-esteem. After eleven years of school, I left and embarked on a social year in a german amateur table tennis club. It was undoubtedly one of the best opportunities in my life. It opened my eyes because I realized something very important. My purpose in life is to help other people as a coach and mentor to live up to their full potential, to be happy and fulfilled. As early as 2015, I started into the field of esports as a coach and caster. And then, in 2017/2018 during my social year, i made the decision to make it my big goal and dream to pursue a career as a professional in this field. This decision was a turning point in my life. Throughout the years, i learned a lot about myself and the coaching process, improving my skills as a coach continuously.

 

It was not an easy path. There were moments of frustration when I doubted myself and my dreams. But I never gave up in supporting others reaching out to their potential by using my experiences as an outsider and bullying victim to help others and encourage them. Since then, I have worked at advancing my career. I have been involved as a coach and caster in many tournaments and events, and my name has become more known and respected in the esports community. For a few years, esports has been the one place where i felt alive, even when everything seems to went wrong or bad in my life. I knew, i found my place in this world and from then i was able to unleash a lot more of my potential. Sadly, it didn't last, and in 2023 i decided to take a break from esports, as i didnt had the energy and motivation to continue. Yet, i still felt like i am not finished and will come back one day. But most importantly, I have achieved my goal of helping others. As a mentor, I have supported numerous aspiring talents and helped them realize their dreams. My name is Leon, and this is my story. From being an outsider and bullying victim, I have become a successful esports coach and mentor for others. It was a long journey to get where i am today, but i believe it will continue for a long time.
