
About me
Hi there, I am Performance Cyp, a passionate performance coach holding degrees in psychology, sports science, and sports psychology (MSc). As a French man, originally from Luxembourg, who moved to the UK, my life has been shaped by connecting with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
For as long as I can remember, my life revolved around gaming and sports. Two passions with a notable impact on my life and personality. As I grew up and matured as an individual, high performance and competition became a source of drive and motivation. My first memory of gaming was around 4 years old. I was playing Pokémon on my brother's Game Boy Advance and I have not stopped gaming since.
My approach to performance is grounded in a holistic perspective that integrates both psychological and physical dimensions. I believe in understanding each athlete as a unique individual, considering their psychological makeup, personality, and motivations. This tailored approach allows me to address the specific needs and challenges that each player faces.
Having competed in both traditional sports and esports, I recognize the importance of the interplay between the mind and body in achieving peak performance. My experiences in competitive gaming, such as participating in Rocket League and Pokémon VGC tournaments, coupled with my selection for the U18 European championships in rugby, have developed my understanding of the mental and physical demands of high-performance environments. For university, I decided to move to the UK and get qualified as a performance coach by getting degrees in sports science, psychology and sports psychology.
My coaching philosophy is centered around fostering a growth mindset, resilience, and effective communication within teams. I am committed to creating a supportive and empowering environment where athletes can thrive, pushing beyond their perceived limits. As a performance coach, I've had the privilege of working with the Luxembourg Pokémon team and Cocky Sloths in Rocket League and Valorant. These experiences have equipped me with the tools necessary to offer comprehensive support across various facets of performance.

Coaching Offering
Introductory session, 15 minutes, free: A quick video call to get to know each other and discuss the issue in depth. The athlete can choose whether they wants to book a longer session to further work on the issue and performance.
Individual session, 1 hour, £40: 1-on-1 video call as a follow-up to the introductory session. Session tailored to the specific needs expressed by the athlete in the previous session. Explanation of the theory around specific aspects of performance, followed by specific skill acquisition and practical work. Session concluded with a debrief.
Group session, 1 hour, £15 pp: Team-specific session, built on previous introductory session. Communication workshop, leadership workshop, team-bonding sessions and more (on request).
Group presentation, 1 hour, £10 pp: An hour long presentation on a chosen aspect of physical or psychological performance. (Performance routines, breathing, mindfulness, nutrition, physical training and more)
