I started coaching esports in 2017, joining my first professional team, in Overwatch Contenders in 2019. Since then, I have worked with top teams across Europe in both Overwatch and VALORANT coaching players on their path to the VALORANT Champions Tour as well as working with players and teams in VCL.

 

Like you, I started out as a casual gamer. Trying to grind my way up the ranks in a variety of titles such as PUBG (peaking #35), Overwatch (Top 500) and Dota (5k mmr). I learnt a significant amount during my time as a player; how to climb effectively, how to achieve the top 0.01% or ranks and how to learn and study games.

Although I was a competent player it soon became obvious that it would make more sense for me focus on coaching. I enjoyed in-game leading but I didn't feel I had the time to keep up my mechanics. I wanted to keep on competing and had a lot of game knowledge so coaching seemed like a sensible transition - leading to where I am today.
